Among her most notable contributions is the coordination of COSTRUIRE CON LA MUSICA, a groundbreaking initiative that leverages music as a tool for socio-economic development. The project emphasizes the role of music in fostering entrepreneurship and employment opportunities—particularly among youth—while promoting social innovation and sustainable economic growth.

Her success is rooted in her ability to collaborate effectively with Mozambican public institutions, African organizations, and NGOs. Valentina has built strong relationships with local partners and government bodies, facilitating the implementation of culturally relevant programs that resonate with community needs. Her deep understanding of the local context enables her to navigate the complexities of public sector collaboration in Mozambique and across Africa.

Her professional journey includes a significant role as Technical Consultant for CAMMINI MINIMI LDA, where she contributed to the development of a strategic plan using the Theory of Change methodology for Terre des Hommes Mozambique. She also served as a Monitoring Manager for the Scalabrinian Sisters, focusing on efforts to combat human trafficking, where she was responsible for auditing and evaluating project activities.

Valentina’s academic background is equally impressive. She holds a Master’s degree in Fundraising and Project Management from the ASVI School for Management & Social Change, a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Parma, and a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from the University of Padova and Oviedo. She has furthered her education with diplomas in Gestalt Psychotherapy and Child Neuropsychiatry, enriching her expertise in the fields of mental health and social services.

Fluent in Italian, French, Portuguese, Spanish, and English, Valentina is highly adaptable in multicultural environments. She has studied and worked in several countries, including France, the United States, and various regions in Africa. Her strong communication skills and leadership experience allow her to effectively manage diverse teams and complex projects.

In addition to her work in Mozambique, Valentina serves as the CEO of PASSI Società Cooperativa, where she leads initiatives focused on social enterprise development and community welfare. Her commitment to integrating music therapy into educational contexts is reflected in her previous work on the ARMONIOSAMENTE project, which used the arts to enhance communication skills among children.
