This competition doesn’t just test your legal knowledge; it challenges your ability to think critically, analyze complex cases, and argue persuasively.

Why the Moot Court Competition is Important

As the music industry continues to evolve, legal frameworks must adapt to address new challenges. From copyright disputes and intellectual property battles to the impact of artificial intelligence and legacy rights, the Moot Court Competition provides participants with an invaluable opportunity to engage with real-world issues that affect artists, creators, and the wider industry.

Here’s why the competition matters:

4. Prepare Arguments for Both Sides

  • Each team must prepare oral arguments for both the Plaintiff/Applicant and the Defendant/Respondent.
  • Arguments must be based on established facts and current laws—fabricating facts is strictly prohibited.

5. Present Your Case

  • Preliminary rounds will take place privately to ensure fairness, with the semi-finals and finals held publicly.
  • Participants will have a set time to present their arguments and respond to questions from the judges.
