A skilled storyteller and International Relations graduate from Africa University, Usher’s work has been featured in leading publications such as Rolling Stone Africa, Trace, BBC 1Xtra, GQ and Glamour South Africa, OkayAfrica, and Hypebeast Africa, telling compelling stories from over 20 countries around the globe.

With a deep passion for literacy, education, and African narratives, Usher has shared his insights on renowned platforms including the Harare International Literature Festival, the British Council’s Creative Hustles Program, and the University of the Witwatersrand, where he delivered a public lecture at the School of Arts.

His early career includes impactful work in international development, having interned at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), where he contributed to the editorial team behind the launch of the Equip Induction Platform and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

Usher is also a proud member of Forbes BLK, where he continues to advocate for the transformative power of storytelling, education, and youth development on the African continent.
