Le Mpendulo is a world-touring Ndebele Soulful-Pop artist from Mamelodi, a vibrant township in Pretoria, South Africa.
A multidisciplinary creative, she is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and composer, as well as a qualified graphic designer with additional experience in fashion styling, visual design, modeling, acting, and event curation. Her artistic journey, shaped by diverse influences and grounded in cultural authenticity, has propelled her to international stages. Among her achievements are performances at the iconic SXSW festival in Austin, Texas (2023) and gigs on board Carnival Cruise ships sailing the Caribbean, Atlantic, and Pacific Oceans. She has recorded at Paramount and LA Castle Studios in Hollywood and collaborated with South African cultural icons such as Dr Esther Mahlangu and Dr Nothembi Mkhwebane on National Arts Council-funded projects. Le Mpendulo has graced platforms like the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz Festival, Metro FM, Power FM, and SABC’s Morning Live, continuing to inspire through her dynamic expression of Ndebele-rooted global music.
