Synopsis:
Struggling with a sex addiction, Pastor Gumbi is sent away by the church in the hopes he rehabilitates. On his journey to being “cured” he is asked to take upon another church where he dazzles with great upliftment community projects and sermons.

Nontando a gorgeous, young lady surfaces at church immediately causing the pastor to relapse. He hallucinates during sermons, embarrassingly dazes at attractive women and even masturbates daily just to concentrate.

Finally, his desires are met when he and Nontando start a lust-filled, fierce relationship. Matters escalate when Nothando resurfaces pregnant with a list of demands, ever the conniving opportunist she milks Gumbi for every penny he’s got until he steals from church and borrows from loan-sharks.

Nearing his breaking point, we find ourselves asking whether the holy man will ever make it out of this crazy situation or will he confront Nothando, pay his debt and seek proper help.

The woman on a couch is from a poor family. She has been through a bitter argument with her husband who used all the money from his pension to buy an old dilapidated minibus instead of using it to meet family needs. The feeling here is one of disappointment and a conflicted state of mind hence she has come to her sister for advice.

Earlier in this scene- The young man overheard the old man failing to bribe the security guard for the release of his bus from the pound. The young man lies and claims the security guard has changed his mind and demands a thousand rand for the release of his bus. It’s a con, and the old man falls for it, so the young man runs away with it. The feeling here is one of foolishness and deception. It’s a bit comical, of course.

All is lost moment. After being conned out of his money and abandoned by his wife and son, the old man prays for sanity on his own. The mood here is one of loss. It’s a crisis moment.

Truth Comes Calling is a short film about ZEE (33), an alcoholic whose past trauma comes back to haunt her one morning. Zee has to make a decision to expose a secret about her brother if she is to find lasting peace.

In the opening scene, our protagonist, Zee, is passed out in her car after another bender. Zee abuses alcohol to numb her feelings. The score should reflect her state of mind, draw attention to her flaw or wound, while evoking suspense about the truth that is about to unravel.

Entangled is a made for tv movie about a female detective Zibuyile who unknowingly falls in love with a charming jewelry thief who is behind a case she is investigating.

In this scene Zibuyile is introducing Stephen to her son, the family outing starts fine except Zibuyile is waiting for an image of the image from her partners at the police station, and just when Stephen is enjoying playing step-dad potential taking pictures with Zibuyile’s son, an image of Stephen appears on her phone ruining the perfect date.
