Ninel Musson is not only a senior executive but one of the only female co-founders of a Record Label and creative Entertainment Management Agency on the continent. As a formidable entrepreneur, over the last decade Ninel has transformed a unique music start-up operating locally to an impactful pan African independent Record Label and Talent Management agency with an enviable roster of Africa’s most well-known Music Talent including Ami Faku, AKA, Manu WorldStar, Benny Afroe, Courtnae’ Paul, Pro Monate, Stepdaddy, Eternal Africa and others.
VTH Season has received recognition from multiple award committees such as the South African Music Awards (SAMAs), Metro FM Awards, MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA’s) as well as international nods from the likes of the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards and MTV Europe Music and has made an appearance on the well-known BBC world news.
Ninel combines her passion for developing the creative economy in Africa and her distinctive academic background including three degrees – Ninel holds a Bachelors in Corporate Finance, Honours in International Business and Masters in Management in Strategic Marketing from Wits Business School. With work on the ground in more than 14 African countries Ninel is also a widely acknowledged music marketing expert, having led more than 100 music marketing campaigns to break brand new artists, cross-genre single releases and brand defining artist projects and events across Southern Africa and is designated as a Chartered Marketer by the Marketing Association of South Africa (one of the first 200 in the country).
Ninel has been a guest MC for various music launches, a guest speaker at events for Trace TV , Indie Foundation, Bandustry and artist album launches like Tresor and Berita. In 2019 Ninel presented a Keynote address at The Music Imbizo.
